A BIG thank you to UR Sportswear for jumping right in and sponsoring the first ever chat. We love companies that are enthusiastic in supporting their community. We’re very excited to have them with us this week!

We have been overwhelmed by the response from the Twitter climbing community to our new chat session, #ClimbChat, every Tuesday at 7pm MST (9pm EST). From what we are hearing, Twitter was ready for this. Thank you for carrying the enthusiasm onward and outward. We can’t wait to meet all of you and hear your climbing tips and questions.

This week we are discussing “Getting Ready for Climbing Season.”  This is a great chat not only for veteran climbers, but also those who are looking to get into the sport. We’ve got a great array of questions lined up surrounding this topic- many coming directly from you. And that’s the point! We want to get your questions answered by as many different climbers as possible. So feel free to ask questions and jump in with advice. This is a time for you to get as much climbing knowledge as possible- and to have some fun meeting new climbers at the same time. Have questions about how to this whole Twitter Chat thing? Check out these easy instructions.

We’re excited to talk with you all tonight for the first ever #ClimbChat at 7pm MST tonight on Twitter! Make sure you are following @ginabegin, @stevewweiss and @themostepictrip- the moderators of the chat- so you can be on top of the questions as they are presented during the chat. And, of course, make sure to join up with this week’s chat sponsor: @ursportswear !
